The Big Lie
The biggest lie being told in the self-improvement industry is that everyone knows what they’re doing and it’s not “hard” to become successful.
It’s important to remain realistic and understand that with success will also come hardships.
It’s comforting to know that the individuals we look up to have their own struggles and that you’re not alone.
Behind The Scenes Of Running A Business
We all love the experience of walking into a cozy coffee shop or a bustling restaurant, but it’s the behind the scenes operations we don’t get to see that keep everything we enjoy running smoothly.
From the outside looking in, it may look like entrepreneurship is magical, but more times than not it’s a strenuous process.
It takes accountability to stay on track with your goals. If you try to handle everything on your own within your business you’re setting yourself up for failure.
Stepping Out & Showing Up
Betting on your dreams, and taking the small steps to get there can be scary. But with no risk, there is no reward.
If your dreams don’t intimidate you, you may be stuck in a situation that is not benefitting your personal growth.
Much of entrepreneurship is running into obstacles, but it’s how you come back from them that directly impacts your success.
If you keep showing up, things are going to work out over time, even if not overnight.
Often others’ opinions or fear of what they will think can hold us back from going after our dreams. But it’s important to lean into our gifts, and tune out the noise of the world around us.
