Completing the 75 Hard Challenge
When it comes to any challenge, the most important thing to remember is it’s all about showing up for yourself above all else.
In this episode of The Decide It’s Your Turn™ podcast, Christina and her husband walk you through their experience completing the 75 hard challenge. From what the program guidelines are, the best and worst parts, and their overall final results.

The 75 hard program is 75 days of following the below rules each day:
- Complete 2 x 45minute workouts (One must be outside)
- Drink 1 gallon of water
- Take a progress photo
- Read 10 pages of a book
- Follow a diet of your choice (no alcohol)
If you miss a day of this challenge you are either “out” of the challenge or you can choose to start back at day 1.
Commit To The Challenge
Christina decided she wanted to complete the 75 hard challenge by her 40th birthday celebration, and Nathan decided to join in to support her during the process.
It’s important to understand that you don’t have to have everything planned out to get started on something you want to do. It’s just about starting.
As a coach who empowers other’s to make hard decisions in their lives, Christina noticed her own apprehension when she decided to start the 75 hard challenge.
The Halfway Point
When you start to gain momentum in the process, you begin to realize how much time you actually have in a day to accomplish what you set your mind to.
Christina and Nathan have both found in the first half of this experience that it hasn’t changed their daily routine much.
For Nathan his biggest progress was maintaining hydration, and for Christina her progress has been made in “clean eating”.
The biggest take-away from the challenge is being able to commit to the things you say you will do.
When you take on any challenge in life, there may come a time when you mess up or things aren’t perfect, but you MUST keep going.
Nathan and Christina reflect on their final results from the program:
Nathan lost 17 pounds, realized how pivotal hydration was for his health and his sinus problems have seemed to be allieviated.
Christina realized that this program may not be for everyone, but it allowed her the space to commit to herself and show up each day. It created more awareness for her, and improved her overall relationship with her mind and body.
